Sirene opens collaborative playgrounds and stimulates change. Sirene is honest (right about the amount you can take). Sirene makes up stories and sometimes a joke. Sirene is right on time and delivers full service (not everything though).

Our Approach

SIRENE marries an analytical design approach with intuition, indulgence and a playful sense for aesthetics.

SIRENE creates space for design and transformation, all the while focusing on the humans behind their clients and collaborators.

SIRENE listens closely and finds individual and genuine solutions for the real world – design that does not only communicate, but clarifies who you are.

Team

Clara Berlinski, Jana Frantal, Ana Iankova & Maria Kanzler met while studying graphic design at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna. 

While Clara specialised on illustration she has since found a second love in branding and book design. Ana is booked for set styling and together with Clara, they both explore their interest for design around food & restaurants. Maria has gained experience in advertising, campaigning and expanded her knowledge in the field of social design and exhibitions. With a focus on identity design, Jana has been working at the interface of strategic communication, consulting and branding. Combined we face an experience of more than 25 years in the industry.

Our Story

SIRENE is the answer to the year 2020. To being more seperate than together. To pregnancy and a new focus in life. To unpredictability and (re)discovered resilience, the messy and structured narrative life brings along. To going back to university and new career paths, to learning and listening, and to an urge of creating continuity and security – for our clients and ourselves. 

SIRENE is a unique structure of four independent designers with varying fields of interests and skillsets who join forces and work together. In an industry where competition and specialisation dominate, SIRENE responds collectively, in solidarity and with a broad base, creating a working environment that allows us to explore all of our creative potentials.

SIRENE was founded specifically as a collaborative practice with a core team that often extends to include a broader circle of specialists and collaborators in order to meet each project’s unique requirements.
